Meet Our Doctor
Iman Ahmed, APRN, FNP-C
Iman Ahmed, APRN, FNP-C
Iman Ahmed is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who quite literally grew up in the world of allergy care — she’s Dr. Ahmed’s daughter and lifelong apprentice. Her personal experience with allergies to cats, oak, ragweed, and dust mites gave her a firsthand understanding of what her patients go through — and the motivation to help them find lasting relief.
When she’s not in the office, Iman is usually chasing after her two energetic boys, planning her next travel adventure, or indulging in a little (or a lot!) retail therapy. She loves reading — though she admits most days her “quiet reading time” looks a lot like reading bedtime stories.
Professional Information
Education & Certification
- A proud University of Central Florida graduate, Iman went on to complete ECPI University’s accelerated BSN program, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in just 12 months — because when she sets her mind to something, she doesn’t waste time. She became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020 and now practices side by side with her father, helping patients breathe easier and feel better every day.
Early Experience & Volunteering
- Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Iman worked for several years as a Certified Medical Assistant in her father’s office, where she built a strong foundation in patient care and hands-on clinical experience. She has also volunteered at Shepherd’s Hope, local hospitals, and through Project Downtown, serving her community with the same compassion she brings to her patients.
Philosophy of Care
- Iman is deeply passionate about improving her patients’ quality of life through evidence-based, personalized care in the management of allergies, asthma, and skin conditions. Her favorite part of the job is hearing patients share how much better they feel after treatment — both physically and emotionally.
